Evening primrose oil is rich in GLA and has a long history of use for the treatment of inflammatory skin conditions such as eczema and psoriasis. Organic rosehip oil, rich gold in colour, is incredibly nourishing for the skin and is also excellent for inflammation. St. John’s Wort flowers infused into olive oil leaves the skin feeling supple and is used by herbalists for the treatment of cuts, scar tissue and healing nerve damage. Calendula infused into olive oil is famous for its affinity with healthy skin, and in this cream there is also a water extract of calendula giving a real ‘full spectrum’ medicine from this plant. High quality lavender hydrosol sourced from France is emulsified into the oils with an olive wax, and the minimum permissible amounts of preservative are used so that the skin micro-biome does not get overly affected by their presence.
